Robert Lewis Chaise
Robert Lewis' design studio was located in the world famous El Paseo in Santa Barbara. His classic outdoor furniture from the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s, made of tubular bronze and rope inspired many copies. Rumor has it that his employee Walter Lamb, was caught in Lewis' backyard tracing a Lewis chair pattern. Popular again, Robert Lewis furniture was originally only available in select shops in New York, Vancouver, Oakland, Los Angeles, Pasadena and of course Santa Barbara.
